The cowgirl position

I hope nobody thinks I'm a guy that likes to be dominated by a woman, or who believes in the feminist philosipher's stone so to speak. I'm not. In my case, though, I'd much prefer her to go on top. It's fairer in a way because she can straighten up and make penetration easier, at the same time I can stroke the chlitoris. Also, she'd have more control and a little more sense of freedom.

When I get married, I'm going to talk to my girl about this. I don't much like the idea of putting her under me because it'd feel a lot like holding her down. This is just my opinion.

What are yours?

how about rodeo sex tell her this is her sisters favorite position than see if you can hang on for 8 seconds

Hey Gunsrus. If you're gonna wait until you're married to get stuff like this figured out, then ... well, er, um .... er ...

Let's just say that virginity 'til marriage is oh so '80s. We'll understand if you get things straightened out beforehand.

Because you should.

No, I didn't mean to say I'm going to wait until marriage to deal with my sex life. I was typing fast at the time and when I do that, I forget certain ideas.

Truth be told, I'm all for sex before marriage. It's a natural thing to do. Ain't no problem sleeping with your intended. I actually like the idea because it pays respect to our animal cousins. They form a couple like us, but what they do is put the relationship itself to the forefront.

She will also wash the dishes and take out the trash cans....marriage is so easy when your wife or maybe even husband i don't know what your planning to marry for all i know it could be a swinging hammock with a blow up doll attached to it does all the hard work and you just take the pleasure for yourself with min work involved.

Until that day comes beware the possibility of giving yourself arm pump, it is a serious condition and corrective surgery is not guaranteed.

Sex before marriage is a big step. Some of us did wit and glad we did so.

The question about sex before marriage is irrelevant. That time of life eventually passes one way or another,,,

It's sex after marriage that is important. That time could be an eternity.

As to the OP, his suggestion is has validity. Woman on top does give her control of speed penetration and duration. And you frankly. Facing away from you let's her free not to see your ugly mug.

It's my preference because the small curve of a woman's lower back is my favorite view.

I know some men want from their women, but I wouldn't. I'd take out the trash while she did the dishes, or if she asked me to, I'd do the dishes and she'd take out the trash. I believe in both husband and wife doing fifty fifty.

I ain't never read or heard of an arm pump. Would you mind letting me know what it is?

Very insightful commentary, but why's the idea of sex before marriage not relevant to you?

reverse-cowgirl is a position we use often enough, & both luv. that, in both his & my opinion, rocks.
you'll hafta search....... i'm not explaining that one.

Arm pump is a clinical condition in which an individual develops intermittent marked pain in the forearms after a period of exercise or exertion. The pain is thought to arise due to swelling of the muscles of the forearm that affects the blood flow to these muscle and causes the oxygen levels to drop.

Motorcycle racers suffer badly from this.

Rest assured friend that I'd never suffer from this, as I got no intention of ever pushing myself hard enough to cause damage to my muscles. I train intensively, but not to the point of inflicting injuries on my body.

Just to damn funny...:yum: And yes I'm a willing to bet you have both experienced and suffered from this condition on numerous occasions.

That's not what I said. I said the "question" of sex before marriage is irrelevant. Referring to the OP topic AND at the same time to Kane's implied moral question. Neither is relevant.

Is there still a question here?

Yes, I would say there is and I ask it because I would like to get a better lay of the modern land. Sixty years ago, not many women would go on top of their partners as I read. Now, it's commonplace. I'd like to know what caused the shift and what it means for men and women today.

While that is a good question, it has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with what I said.
Why are you asking me?

I'm not directing the question at you in particular. I'm sorry if it seems I'm hassling you. I ain't. Please don't get that impression. I'd welcome your opinion, but it ain't obligatory.

No, what I said had nothing to do with what you said. I think I must have crossed the lines by mistake.

For the record I was a virgin at 22 when I married my wife, also a virgin. It was a choice. Not necessarily for moral reasons but a recognition of the rare and therefore precious gift that pristine condition was to my mate.

Personally, I have no issues with premarital sex or the morality of monogamy. But again, keeping the promise of monogamy made at the beginning of our relationship is,,, a gift made precious by the effort and life long choice of declining the opportunity to break that promise.

It gives me great pride on the one hand, but no particular moral authority over anyone else. Does that make my position (pardon the pun) clear?

As for the changes you mentioned, I really do not think that is true. Most of the Elizabethan morals we were told to observe, were abandoned even in Elizabethan times. But most certainly after WWII when many cultural practices were abandoned as our nation of mixed heritages blended. The one practice of modesty took a bit longer and so it may only seem that our young nubile lovers were stuck in old traditions.

As for me and the wife, married in 1969, there were no boundaries in our lovemaking. Again,, a gift.

This sure does make your position clear, buddy. Thanks for sharing this insight with us. I will certainly keep it as a noble point of reference and I'm glad ice was broken during the Victorian age. :applause:

When I saw your post briefly I thought that it has to do with psychological domination.
Two weeks ago my boyfriend dumped me saying that I am: "overly dominating, too big, loud and not nice at all". 'Big' is my height i suppose, but the rest three points baffled me. After reading your text I came to conclusion that I probably dominated over to him in sex and he couldn't stand it, quite opposite to your case

Sounds like he couldn't handle the challenge of having a relationship with an equal. Sad.

His loss.
