There's something almost DECEPTIVE about Snow Cat's of all makes. From the outside they look Really "COOL" when doing their thing. Inside however, they are Noisy, and rough riding. Nice, accurate to detail Video!
 
I suppose noisy is relative. I grew up on a farm driving tractors which had no cab (and not super quiet mufflers), then my dad graduated to a tractor with a Year-Around cab which I think was even louder than being in the open. When I "retired" from farming I had a John Deere 4630 with a Sound-Guard cab, but when that diesel was at full throttle pulling a heavy load it was plenty loud. I've not lined my SV200 Bombardier cab with carpeting or soundproofing, but I don't think it's as loud as the tractors. (I did line the engine compartment). I noticed in several pictures, the snowcat operators were wearing ear protection: a good idea!

We had a big crowd, Camp Quality, today. The bus gave many cancer survivors and family members rides up and down. If you guys could have heard the cheers and laughs... it was truly a joy.
I had planned to take outside videos and more pics, but we were too busy.
