One of mine too, really got a lot of giggles out of this movie. I actually have a copy of it and two others done with/by the same people.
 
Two Lane Blacktop.

Really good vintage dragracing movie, staring James Taylor and Dennis Wilson. The credits even credit the cars, a 55 Chevy and a 70 Pontiac GTO.

You just hit one of my all time favorite movies as well as a few others that were take offs . :biggrin: Terrence hill , damn good movies , He was in a police movie as well that was funnier then hell .

If I remember right the others were , Trinity is my name , My name is trinity & my name is nobody , which featured Henry Fonda as I recall .

gran torino is at the top of m list for military comidy kellys heros when it comes to hollywoods attempt to describe the gulf war and its affects on soldiers and familys overthere a mini series some of it was a bit farfetched however i did an excelent job of making the veiwers feel what it was like in iraq and their tactics training porcedures were verry realistic. musc more so than other movies like jarhead

My vote. The original Vanishing Point 1971 with Barry Newman and Dean Jagger. Music by Bonnie & Delaney. One of the best car flicks of all time.

Thunder Road is also up there on my list of car flicks. Stared Robert Mitchem who even sang the theme song of the movie.

The best car chase scene was from Bullet with Steve McQueen.

Yup, great movie. I love that theme song. Our local stock car track is named in honor of that movie. Thunder Road.

Yes, great chase scene in Bullit. Don't forget the car chase in The French Connection with Gene Hackman. Another awesome movie. :biggrin:

"The Gods Must be Crazy" is the best fun film of all time. The LandRover is the best character in the film, I love the scene where it winches itself up the tree.

Yes agreed the French Connection was also where Gene Hackman hit the big times also.

I watched a motor cycle based movie the other night on one of the premium channels called Torque which also was entertaining for that type of movie.

it touches on so many issues that really hit home for me

and while it's probably not a good idea to watch it all the time, i'd seriously suggest watching it if you havon't- even if it's just once. gives a very powerfull message of why people choose to commit suicide, and why people cut, etc.
 
My best movie no one has ever heard o would be Swimming Pool with Charlotte Rampling, also the best actress nobody has heard of.
 
Probably in your eyes. I think its pretty alternative very good movie and recent but wasn't known in cinema which is often why

Two people can see and feel what the other sees and feels. It's not your average guy meets girl at all.
