I love fossil fuels. I would consider a small electric vehicle for commuting if I could be sure the electricity to charge it came from a coal fired power plant.

I do not believe in global warming. But I love clean air. In the biggest cities they could use a commuter car rather well.
That is where the biggest issues are.
