Taking out a grouser

On these snowcats can you take out a grouser link to shorten the tracks if you have to much slack in them. I am almost at the end of adjustment on my Bombi, and the belts are still in pretty good shape. Thanks in advance.
 
i've pulled three out of my tracks so far at some point the belts will streatch to the point you will have sproket wear and than the belts will have to be replaced. save your grousers as when the belts need replacement you will have teh proper amount of grousers
