Swedish snowcat

I plus many other Swedes read on this board that you can get great tips and help with various snow cats (snövessla) as snow trac, tracked vehicles, snow groomers.

I'm considering myself to buy a Bombardier BR 100 BOMBI but is concerned that there are bad parts of Sweden.
Can any tips on where to get hold of spare parts both within and outside Sweden, I would be happy.

I've just started a Swedish forum on Snowcat (hope that's okay with a link) which Especially all from the north (but of course others are welcome) to discuss everything.

Welcome to this forum, Kalle !!!

Parts for many Bombardier models are available from Prinoth in this country. I don't know how available they will be to you but here is a link
http://www.prinoth.com/content.asp?L=3&IdMen=225

Many parts, both new and used are available from http://www.mn-outdoors.com/ but I don't know if shipping would be expensive or if you have to pay a tax.

I hope you will visit here often and share some stories, adventures and pictures with us :flowers:

I am looking forward to watching your forum evolve......what can you tell us about the "Super Trac V2"? Is that a photoshop or is it real? That space between boggies could be a real problem....
Welcome to the forums!

Hello and welcome to the Snowcat area of the ForumsForums. We try to support ALL the various snowcat forums on the internet. The snowcat community is pretty small and we all need to hang together and support each other. You are welcome to post your link here and we'd appreciate cooperation between your forums and ours.

There are a few other forums you may want to be aware of, some are more specialized but here are a couple links:

Koz's Snow Grooming Forum (for professional snow groomers) : http://s8.zetaboards.com/snowgroomingtalk/index/

Bombardier Snowmobile Forum at Northern Tracks (antique Bombardier B12 & C18 snowbus) : http://www.northerntracks.com/forum/index.php

Team Richard's Snowcat forums : http://snowcats.tahoebasin.com/

Hello All, and thanks for the welcome to the forum and all the great links you-all have given and good wishes to my new forum, I also hope it becomes a popular place to talk about Snow Cats and more.

"couchloafer" on "Super Trac V2" I can not so much about, I found the picture online, yes it looks a bit strange with the bogie I have no idea whether it should be so.
We have long since had two Snow trac that we used to tread paths
for forest harvesting, we sold one to one of Sweden's most famous artists Erling Johansson Sarvisvaara so that he would come out to the woods and paint portraits, we no longer have any Snow trac.

I hope my bad English can be read.
