Hey, Craig missed your call were deep into the whitetail season

We have been using tractor trans-hydraulic Bombardier was recommending ATF
Fluid like Mecron Dextron but in my opinion it is to light weight we have sold a lot of ring and pinions because of that fluid.

Almost as important is to make sure you check it for water from condensation at least once if not several times per season they have the nasty habit of accumulating it. Just by design

What does help to to get a descadent canister and run it to your vent line and let it catch most if not all of it.

We will look for your used parts next week after the pursuit of the monster whitetail

Stumbled across an old thread from you dated 2012. Copied the different differential fluids, for my files, all good or one you recommend.
What about a good flush for diff ????

Well, the person that posted that list hasn't been on here for 9 years. And most of the snow cat community is off boating (or any other summer activity you want to insert). Activity usually starts picking back up around September.

Gabbott, almost any of that list will work fine. The important thing is it is rated for WET CLUTCH/BRAKE applications. I steer folks towards the JD hyGard. either normal for Usual or the low viscosity for expected real low temperatures. It is usually available, it isn't that much more than generic, and for me, it's just worked. But like our departed friend said "Almost as important is to make sure you check it for water from condensation at least once if not several times per season they have the nasty habit of accumulating it." Either run it enough it get hot and causes the moisture to leave, Install a dessicating air vent, or be prepared to drain and refill.

THANKS for the reply....JD Hygard was at the top of my list, but wanted some input.
Appreciate your opinion Cidertom !!!!
