SV 200 Useage

Although now most of our snow is gone, I got a last-minute picture of the 1971 SV200 Bombardier SkiDozer with it's new black walnut rack and its cobbled hydraulic system attached (almost) to a groomer. Next year I've been invited to help groom snowmobile trails near here. I'll be hoping for lots of snow.

Looking good, Snowbird !!

I see you got your stripe done :thumb: and a walnut rack .... wow.

How about another picture or two ?

Snowbird - looks great. Could we get some more photos of the machine, engine area, tracks, front blade? I have an SV302 so I'm particularly interested. Thanks!

I'm posting some more pictures. Sounds like temperatures here in the 40s will mean the end of the snow seaon for us.
1. Today when I tried the drag (snowmobile trail groomer) the snow was so heavy and wet it just sort of bunched up in the drag. I think the drag will work fine in more normal conditions (even heavy wet snow if I adjust it properly).
2. This rear view shows the drag and the SMV emblems. I plan to add flashing amber warning lights and more reflectorized tape this summer as well as giving the drag a sandblasting and new paint makeover.
3. I've built a black walnut rack for the SV200. The farm I grew up on had a walnut grove, so I've inherited some walnut rough-cut lumber for this and my furniture hobbies.
4. This view shows the SV200 with attached drag. I got a little carried away with Bombardier decals.
5. The last picture illustrates my hydraulic valves and supply tank. I've got the control rods inside the cab for the hydraulic valves. So far I've only got the drag...no blade in front, so two controls were all I needed.
