This morning as my wife was doing her before breakfast barn check, she came upon quite a surprise in one of our boarders stall.

Needless to say, all our plans of doing "not much" on such a hot day went out the window.

The 13 year old girl pictured in the center of one of these pictures is the owner of the horses. The mare was her Christmas present last year.

Yeah, no kidding! The Vet was even out last Monday to check everyone out, and even she missed it!

Dave, FYI, going to the local VFW Post to get a "vet" is a little different than hiring a Veterinarian to come out and take care of your animals.

Dave you owe me a hearing aid. When I showed the pictures to my daughter she screamed so loud that I think I'm deaf in that ear now. She wants a horse do bad and I just keep saying no.
