Suggestions for removing track on DMC 1450

Whoever installed the track on my wide track Super Imp used a long bolt through the lacing of the inside belt, with the head facing toward the frame. The track tension adjustment uses the hydraulic pressure of grease and the track is too tight to flex the track enough to push the bolt out under the frame. I pulled the zerk fitting from the adjuster and tried to push the idler wheel back using a jack but got nowhere.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for reducing the tension on the track? I need to pull the idler wheels off the front to replace them since they are crumbling. Is there maybe another way to get the idlers off?

the adjuster slots may have rust and dirt in them my 2100 was this way I had to cut the tube to relieve the pressure than re weld it up to remove the lacing bolt you might try un bolting the lacing from the belts.

I'm not sure my machine has adjuster slots, but am quite sure something is bound up. Tried running the machine forward and back with the zerk fitting removed and tried placing a jack between the front plow and the idler to push it back, no luck either way. Did not even dawn on me to unbolt the lacing from the belt, will have to give that a try, thank you Don.

Unfortunately for this problem, the tires are foam filled. I unbolted the lacing to get the inner belt off, then had to spread the ends to get the spikes free of the track. Definitely not the recommended way to separate the tracks, but did not have much choice thanks to how someone previously installed it. Will have to find some fine thread, self-locking nuts to replace the ones taken off now.
