Stores/Retailers of Amsoil

I'm thinking of trying out some amsoil hydraulic fluid on my next tractor service. So I went to the Amsoil web site to find a store and all I got was a list of what seemed to be individuals not stores.

Does amsoil sell through retailers? I thought I'd seen their stuff in stores before maybe not.

PB, that is about what I did also. Sent 4 or 5 of them an email to get a quote and not one replied back. I did ask on of our retailers and he said he could get it. But evidently they only sell it through these individual people. I think the fact that not one replied made me stay with what I had.

I live in a very remote town. We have next to zero in what you would call retailers. I called my Amsoil warehouse (800 number) placed my order and it was here the next day Via UPS. The UPS charges were cheap and my product is sitting on my floor waiting to be installed in my Snowcat this weekend. No hassles no problems. This warehouse was in Texas and he simply called the closest warehouse to me (In Las Vegas) and it was here. I have aslo seen Amsoil in retail stores but 98% of your typical person will not pay 6 dollars a quart for oil. They will buy what ever is on sale. They have know idea how superior Amsoil is. They dont even really care.

These are the people I always order from. Hope this helped.

As far as there Hydraulic oil. Before I ran the best stuff I could get at the CAT dealer. When winter hit I couldnt get my Log Splitter to turn over. The hydraulic oil was way to thick at those temperatures. Now that I ve switched to the Amsoil Hydraulic fluid I can start my log splitter during the winter.

Yup, going through individuals or ordering online makes the idea less appealing.

For me, I can find amsoil in MANY stores in my area if I needed it. The stores selling it are really signed up through people, not the business name.

Also for me, the shipping is a savings of my time, gas etc. I would reather buy online then in a store.
