Stompin Tom Conners passed away

My condolences Brian. Sorry for your loss.

Sad to say this is the first time I've heard his name. I agree with his take on the Juno's. So many of our talented musicians have roots in Canada. It always amazes me that so many of them come form the great white north. RIP Stompin Tom. Gone but surly not forgotten. He did leave a mark.

Add me to the list, I've never heard of him either but, then again, that's not surprising as I pretty much stopped listening to music years ago. Sorry for your loss.

RIP Tom, I have a few of his LPs and old tapes. I can't believe he wasn't will known in the US. His trade mark was stamping his foot to the beat on a piece of plywood. He kick the crap out of a lot plywood.
My favorite of all his songs/storys was "The Martin Hartwell story"
