Man this is nice to see:smile: Stock market is 10,204 points ... up 180 points today . I can only wish it to continue on its journey .I am sure "Profits Taker" will move in and it will head back south soon :sad:
 
It will not really take off till they stop this crazy deficit spending. Pissed most of my retirement away in the last 18 months.

Ok I offically gave up my paper route today !

For those who did not jump ship when the stock market was turning bad , I congratulate you . You should be looking pretty good today in your stocks.

I got partially out of the market (not enough) before it crashed and got back in about 7500 when it was on its back up from 6500. Yea, we're doing OK. :clap:

I must admit though that I'm not very good at this market timing thing. Every once in a while I get lucky but I prefer to let it ride and hope and pray for the days of slow, steady gains of about 10% a year. It's a lot less wearing on the nerves that way.

I hear ya ! I just left my stuff alone ,even though the broker wanted me to dump a lot of stocks ,. They are all good solid companies and I felt they were just being pulled down by the crap stocks out there . I went against his advice . I am happy to say only one stock is below where I purchased it at today . I can only imagine where they will be if and when we ever see 14000 again .

If brokers or other "experts" are so good, why aren't they buying stocks themselves instead of being in a sales position?

I have a perfect record on the market. I constantly buy high and sell low.

Thers a lot of truth in your statement .
Its amazing how many calls I get where someone wants to help me invest my money ........for a small fee!

Where were these Yahoos when I did not have anything . I look at them as ticks . They did not want me when I was poor and I don't need then now that I have reached my goals .
