After 2 winters with not enough snow for this cat I'm putting it up for sale. I bought a 1344 Tucker from Bill in February so it works better for my area. I bought this Spryte from Petersens in Utah, hauled it up to Canada & did a lot of work to it. This machine was originally a 2 passenger machine, but it was totally redone by Sharpe Engineering in the late 80's early 90's. The engine is a 6 cyl Ford with a C4 automatic. It now is a 11 passenger machine. Since I got it I have completely replace the tracks, ( new belts, new "J" style cleats, new backing plates, new tire guides, new track connectors & new bolts.) I replaced 2 axles, 8 tires & tubes and redid the wiring. I removed the cover of the OC 12 and checked the brake bands ( 75% left), all gears are in good condition also. I repaired both heaters, all lights and completely serviced the machine. I built the front & rear bumpers as well as the brush guard over the body. The brush guard removes with 8 bolts but the bumpers don't. I've only put 25 miles on this machine since all this work was done. Last spring when I went to put it in the shed for summer, I tore 5 rubber tips off the sprockets. Some of you people informed me that because I replaced the old cleats with the new style "J" cleats & didn't change the drive sprockets to the new style tapered ones, this is why I tore the teeth off. The sprockets are now redone & are on there way back to me from Minnisota Outdoors. I'm in Alberta Canada but I will consider bringing it back to the USA if someone wants it. The machine is 119 1/2" wide. I built the wide deck that fits on my heavy car trailer so I can haul it anywhere here in Alberta. I would consider selling the trailer if someone wants it. There's over $15,000 in new parts in this machine. I need $19,750 out of it. This machine is ready for snow but it needs more than the 1 foot that I've gotten the last 2 winters. If anyone knows of a good home for this unit please let me know, Thanks Randy
