Hi all , I recently discovered a oil leak coming from my rear axle OC12 right at the sprocket flange . Looks like the axle seals are worn , I plan on replacing them as well as the bearing . Has anyone done this operation before ? let me know any tips and tricks if you have . Thank you.

Shouldn't be too difficult. I recently took my OC4 apart but didn't pull the axles out of the axle tubes, so I'm of absolutely no value...you're welcome!
However you might want to hook up with Chris at Oliver Crawlers for parts. He did me well on seals and gaskets basics and I'm certain he has bearings and advice.

Not to bad of a job . I called Nancy at Spryte Improvement and she got all the brgs , seals , snap rings and gaskets for me. The old stuff was definitely worn out.

Thanks for posting pictures and update. Nancy at Spryte improvement has been a great help for me. I have the same job to do on my Spryte. Is the bearing a press on and press off? If so any tips or tricks?

The bearing is held in place with a snap ring. You will need a seal puller one with a slide handle hammer action to pull the seal out of the axle tube.
