I got the new engine into my truck last weekend so now i can get oout of town weather was nice so i took a trip to skookim pass wich is 53miles out of nome heading taward councel.we stopped so the kids could try some fishing the water was too dirty still dhe dog Macaurther wanted that stick bad but the water was so cole when in deep enough that MR happy was going to get wet he stopped we got back on the road as we climbed the pass along the solomon river you cansee why it's so cold thats water running over the dop of the ice the last opicture is from the top of skookim pass looking taward the village of white mountain in the winter you cansee the lights from up their. expected to see some bears the only wild life seen was foxes one as big as my dog

Don, is that little dog a pup or just a small dog?

Looks like he was smart enough not to go into the icy water!
 
both she is only 1 year so she wont get much bigger i kindof think the big one might have had something to do with her she looks like him and acts like him.

also we will be taking the family out for the last ride of the season in the hills today
