Winter storm warnings here the last few days plus a new "to me" Thikol Imp make for a nice ride in the woods. 2 ft of new wet snow in the mountains. Surprised I wasn't alone. The Highway Patrol and the Power Company had their snow cats out working on power and radio outages.

We just have temps in the 40s with rain here.

Snow looks like much more fun!
 
We used to have a site in the Cascades, that had a call list. it was much better when everyone went up at once. mutual support, and breakdown protection. About 14 miles in to the site from the road head.
 
My new (to me ) cat starts its customs paper work on Monday, apparently you can buy warm weather
