Spark plug wires for SW48

Bait Guy

Can anybody help me with getting the correct wires for my SW48? The parts store guys look at a me a little odd when I requested new set. My manual shows no wire# to be used. I have the 231 Chysler engine in it. I dont want to make them out of universal wires, but a set that has ends and correct lengths already.

A 230 or the original 251 ???

Go look at vintage powerwagons and pick a model near to your year like a half ton Dodge pick up that has a 251.

If it is a 230. use 1955 Plymouth Belvedere.

The engines are closely related so the wires must be very similar.

I picked up a set at Tractor Supply Co. for a six cyl tractor, fit perfect and had the 90 degree plug boots.

If TSC doesn't have them you can get them at any auto parts store. I would look for an independent store with someone behind the counter that actually knows auto parts or get a universal set/kit and cut them to length.
