Back in the 1980's, there was a company that built the same thing in Anchorage, only saw one unit, looked cool, but never saw one like it again, til now.

Other than the wheels are solid tires on this unit, they could be built by the same guy.
 
I would much rather drive my Snow Trac than a Lada with another with tracks stuffed under it.Now if it had a vw engine it would be cool.I drive Dodge diesels because I would rather be cummin than powerstroken
