Soon to be white...

Looking for at least a 5 day stint of white stuff falling from the sky at my cabin. Probably won't amount to a whole lot but one never knows. It's a start anyway. Fingers crossed for an epic winter.

You're both nuts. I want to be somewhere warm. 🏖️⛱️🏝️🏜️
Doesn't East Texas stay relatively warm in winter?
We stay hot here all summer and I kinda like all the seasons for what they offer. Built my log cabin in the mountains 25 years ago and have to admit that winter is my favorite season up there. So calm and serene. Now that I finally have a snowcat, it's gonna be even more fun!

I love winter. I love the change of each season but for myself being a grain farmer, winter is my slow time and is like a reset at the end of the busy season of harvest. I like the cold and snow and even blizzards, it’s a chance to be stuck at home with family with no obligation to do anything but spend time with the family. I love snowmobiling, snow shoeing and fat biking so winter is my time. No snow here yet in central Manitoba but it won’t be too far off, deer season starts in a week and usually get some during that.
