Hey guys,
Among the many interesting things I saw today was a pile of snowcat-looking tracks at a shop in SE China. This is where we should be getting our snowcat tracks. These guys can make anything from raw materials and their labor is very low cost. Wouldn't you say these look like tracks? Maybe not. . . but I bet they can make them.
Right after we drove past this place we saw a broken down diesel bus in the middle of the highway. Twelve guys were yanking the whole engine and replacing it in the middle of the traffic. What took me a a buddy at least 10 days to accomplish on his LMC3700 could have been done with this crew in a matter of hours. Not sure they'd get everything back together the right way, but they sure are quick. By the time we drove back after picking up some raw dinner (the other picture) at the market, and having it cooked at a restaurant, the bus was gone. They can swap out a bus engine in a matter of hours even in the middle of a highway.
