My wheel hub broke .The part with the wheel studs seperated from the hub. (flange )This is on the large rear wheel. I welded it and got back going but I do need a replacement. Not sure of what made it brake. Maybe the track was tight or ice bildup.
The stock Hub part number isn't a Snow trac number 21-140 .
Has anyone found a repalcement hub? Number 185 snow trac
Thanks, Jim

mine broke during moose season and i welded it up with high nickle rod for cast iron i'v run it about 20 hours since and feel pretty cood about it

do you know what may have broke yours?
i had just crossed a creek and it looked like a rock had got on the track and got wedged between the wheel and swing arm but that is just a guess the nice thing was because it broke just after a swift water fording every thing was nice and clean affter a 2 mille walk back to the mine we were base campig out of with parts in a ruck sack i welded it up and went back jaced it up and put the parts on with out breaking the track the only problem i had was the studds needed a slight attitude adjustment the heat from welding must have warped the hub some i have an extra hub but the greese cup trheads are messed up may put it on the lathe some day and fix it.
