Snow trac Guides big wheel and 2 band differances

there is a difference in the two band and 3 band track guides, and it was pointed out to me that there is a difference in the 3 band guides with the guides used on the belt overlap has a longer leg (thanks Tom!!!)
and there may be some big wheel machines 3 band that are using the guides used on the 2 band, if it works why not.

just some information i know i was confused (which is Easly done :() and thought this would help

There is a reason the 3 band guilds are different and taller. It is because the three band machines have the drive sprockets set much wider apart and thus it is easier for the track line to tip to the point the wheel guides extra height is required to keep the boggies in the track line, and keep the tracks from coming off. The lower wheel guilds of a two band might be intermixed with the correct ones, but at your peril. Three band machines are noted for detracking at the rear wheels, even with the correct wheel guilds.
The best combo IMHO is a three band machine converted to the two band drive sprockets, running a two band track.
