Thanks for the information . I have a cousin who lives in Wasilla and I sent the fella a email to get some additional information . I would like to own one so I could buzz around Mouse Ear Mike's circus tent .
If I can't come to agreement with him on buying it and someone else is looking for one , my cousin told me we can park it at her place until it could be picked up .

Here is a copy of the email from the guy selling it.

Hello Kevin,
I have the Snow Trac for sale and wanted to follow up with your questions.

The machine has been totally restored over the past number of years. It is in excellent condition and garaged. Has around 640 hrs total time, the engine was rebuilt in 1981, however only has a small number of hours on it. I purchased it from a gentleman who passed away and spent 20 years working on it.

I purchased it to access a remote cabin that I have several months ago and then last week purchased a Polaris Ranger 6x6, which is a better fit for our family and needs. I used it twice to go into the cabin.

The variator and belt are in excellent condition and has a spare belt. I would be happy to store it while you plan a trip to Alaska.

Let me know if there is anything else I can provide for you.

If anyone is interested in this Snow-Trac I can go out to Wasilla and take a look at it and get some more pictures. It is about 1 hour from where I live in Anchorage. Send me a PM.
