A commercial fisherman who lives in Washington buys 26 Acres on the side of a mountain. While fishing in the Gulf of Alaska his boat gets inspected by a Marine Biologist from the federal government. The fisherman Marries the Marine Biologist. They build a house on the mountainside acreage. It has this steep, mile and a half long driveway. This is in the Cascades, where they get alot of snow. He tries plowing the road with a one ton truck. But the snow is too deep. Some winters there was 10 feet of snow on his place. While fishing in alaska he locates and purchases a Snow Trac. It's not in very good condition, but he has it shippped to his place in Washington. After it sits around for a couple of years the wife puts her foot down and makes the following ultimatum: Either he fixes the Snow Trac by Thanksgiving, or they sell it. The fisherman makes repeated attempts to get in touch with me but I too work in Alaska. Finally, just weeks before the deadline, I fly back in to Washington and I get this call, he's desperate. So the fisherman and I work day and night for a week or so on the machine and manage to get it fixed. We actually worked on it right up to the day before Thanksgiving. The machine preforms nicely, the wife likes it, and thier little girl wants to drive it into town! But that's just the first half of the story.
