Snotrac tires

Anyone have any contacts or information on st4 small and large tires. I know there was talk about some small tires being manufactured by the OEM. I tried getting some shipped from across the pond but was not able to get that successfully done.

I had to replace some of the small tires and could not get originals. This was a decade ago

What I did find was that some 'hand trucks' used in warehousing had tires of the exact same size. I don't recall the source I used for the small tires. They did have a tire tread pattern, but they were heavy duty and exact fit. Probably Grainger as a possible source and probably tires used by MagLiner, as they make/made heavy duty commercial 2 wheel dollies and hand trucks.

there was a run of tires. they are all distributed many came to north america, a FF member here made it happen. I was able to source 30 tires from MN outdoors 5 years ago or so. I am not selling as I need more for my collection of weasels. I do know there are others hoarding tires as well, the T522 tires are around. I may be able to share some usable spares........

Yeah back when I had my repair shop. I bought a bunch and resold them at basically my cost. Wishing I would have kept some. But I had sold both the snow tracks I had. I did not foresee buying more. Live and learn. Lol. I was hoping somebody knew where there were five or six. Small tires. I could purchase. The large tires are not as bad as the bombardier tires work for those.

I got some SECURA brand 6 ply 400-4 from a now defunct supplier. he said they were light aircraft tires. you might search using that info. There was also some TOST (sp?) 8 ply available. What I need is small wheels.

we had to replace some wheels on a part at work and these fit our application i don't know if they fit the snowtrac format but check their other wheels too

If your open to other nontrelleborg tires. I have some ribbed 6 plys that are 10x4.
I have had great luck with them. They outlasted the 8 ply aircraft tires i evaluated.

You need to contact Lee at Tri State Tire in Ashton, Idaho. Mobile # 1-208-313-0792.
I bought two of the 16” tires from him and had them foam filled. I think foam filling is almost mandatory and certainly eliminated the worries about proper inflation. Also got some tube type bogie tires from him. They are slightly smaller but seem to work well. Prices were very reasonable.

I bought 8 of these: SKU: TK70918693 4.00-4/2.50 Rib Trelleborg Black Kargo Rubber Kargo Solid Pneumatic (2.50 Standard Rim) from Cascadia Tire in Burnaby B.C. They were very helpful.

Because they are 2.5" wide, I had to buy eight new wheels from Carefree Tire in California: 4" x 2.50", 3 Piece Rim - WHITE Color FOR SOLID TIRES W2162-41212
