This weekend at Challenge Mt. we had visually impaired skiers.
It was aweinspiring,(if that is a word)(if not it is now)!!!
To watch these kids ski is amazing.
I had one girl that ski'd up behind the snowmobile all day, only once did she ride. After we were done for the day she wasn't done so we rode her around the hill to the very top.
It was her father that fell first,(on the un groomed part of the hill) making her have have to durf. She still waited for dad, then got up and ski'd down the rest of the way unaided.
This girl has two prosthetic eyes. She had mom and dad on each side of her all day. She specifically wanted me to ride her up, because I went fast enough for her. Aweinspiring!

Another Little guy rode behind me all day, started at the bunny hill, worked his way up to the third cone(the top), ski'd down by himself, with a little help from his friends.

Makes all this bullshit in this world seem like little potatoes to me.

BTW, my back is KILLING me.

Great to see them have the opportunity to enjoy a day on the slopes. they will remember it for a long time.
