During a sixth-grade science lesson, Mrs. Parks posed a question to her class:
"Which human body part increases to ten times its size when stimulated?"
The room fell silent. The students exchanged uneasy glances until little Mary suddenly stood up, her face turning red.
"Mrs. Parks! That is completely inappropriate for sixth-graders! I’m telling my parents, and they’ll go straight to the principal! You’re going to be in so much trouble!"
Mrs. Parks remained unfazed. She calmly repeated the question:
"Which body part increases to ten times its size when stimulated?"
Mary gasped, looking around in shock. "Oh, she’s really done it now!" she whispered to her classmates.
Still, no one answered—until Billy hesitantly raised his hand. He stood up, glancing nervously at his teacher, then said, "Um… the pupil of the eye?"
A smile spread across Mrs. Parks’ face. "Very good, Billy! That is correct."
Then, turning to Mary, she added with a knowing look:
"And as for you, young lady, I have three things to say: One, you have a very dirty mind. Two, you clearly didn’t do your homework. And three… one day, you are going to be very, very disappointed."
The classroom erupted in laughter, while Mary sat down, her face now a shade redder than before.
