Radio tech needed a lift to go fix a paging transmitter. Almost doable with a chained up truck but not quite. There is one steep shaded area that was still pretty deep.
Too far to walk carrying tools and radio gear.
Last winter I went to the same site and the snow was up to the barbed wire on the fence, we just stepped over it.
I had to do some dirt catting. The road was so steep my F-350, in 1st gear, low range, locked rear diff stopped going uphill and started making 4 holes under the tires. Seemed like a good place to unload.
