I am looking for some sheets, pillow cases, and towels that were used in hospitals that have the hospital name embroidered into them. These were used up until the mid 1980's when hospitals started using commercial laundries and shut down their own hospital laundry facilities. My reason for wanting these is to use them in the rear of my 1978 Superior Cadillac Transport Ambulance restoration. I prefer to use period correct items whenever possible. Any help in locating these items will be greatly appreciated. They don't have to match either. Back then when you brought a patient into the ER, you would leave the linens and take fresh linens from the supply closet. Many times the hospital that you delivered the patient to wasn't the same hospital that you swapped out the linens on the last run. The hospitals would just launder the other hospitals linens and put them out for the ambulance personnel to use. I can remember having blue sheets and white pillow cases with grey blankets that all came from different hospitals. Thanks for the help keeping my ambulance historically correct.... Junk...
