Saw the bobcat again this morning.

Made the mistake of hollering at it out in the field thinking it was one of our tiger cats. Wife got to see it as it crossed the field. Between it and the fox it is easy to see why the bunnies have all but disappeared. Have not seen any baby bobcats yet. Once we get some snow cover I will try to locate the den and set up the game camera.

Bobcats and bear don't usually hang around while crossing open fields.

No. It actually has a white patch on it's chest much the same as our one cat does. They are stocky build and the tail is short. Ears are tufted and short also. This one did not look as big as the last one I saw a while back. Could be the young one that was released from a trap on the back side of the hill last year.
