Ryobi 40v expand it polesaw

So i bought a ryobi 40v power head with battery, charger and the string trimmer.i also bought the pole saw attachment and extension.damn thing works great lots of power and good baytery life. Only issue i have is with the pole saw attachment and extension .no matter how tight i tighten the clamp it still manages to rotate even past the little detent ball. I know that this is not a pro model and ive probably trimmed a years worth of trees in a week compared to the average diy’er.just wondering if anyone here gas had a similar issue. 😊

I have the same set up. Ryobi 40v string trimmer/pole saw. I've not had THAT problem.

My biggest problem is the saw blade tends to slip off if I don't have the tension on the bar high enough but it also tends to bind if I run it even 1/2 turn more tension.

Honestly I almost never use the string trimmer, it works great, but I just don't much use it. But I've used the pole saw dozens of times. I've also go the 40v Ryobi hedge trimmer and a 40v chain saw. To my experience, the pole saw is the weak link of the brand.

Hey thats weird, my pole saw cuts like beast.chain never comes off and maintains good tension.jyst gotta keep the clamp tight which not a biggie just annoying for a new tool. Thanks
