Rusty..Antedote is in the mail!!!

fubar

New member
OK Rusty, we have an antedote in the mail. The UPS guy should pick it up in about 4 hours.
You....Actually anyone who cares about Rusty's mental health, can track it's progress from Alaska to Pa. as it is winged across the continent (UPS GROUND, but, what the hey!!)

It is just about as close to go around the globe the other way, but then it would have to pass thru England, and...well You Know Who is there, and we wouldn't want to get a little dribble on it!:hammer:

Liken this to the serum run in Alaska to "Ididarod" Dog sled race, Google if you're interested.

UPS Tracking Number is 1Z 349 YV5 03 9685 8940
Log onto UPS, and follow instruction to track!! They will log every stop it makes!!

Now, this is not in pristene condition, but the price is right, and there are no strings!!!:brows:

Please ENJOY!!:flowers:

Ya, let's hope it's in a large enough piece to photo graph....Dog sleds are HARD on freight!!!

i will get some pics tonight as my tellular cellophone takes blurry pics. there are some on the forum that fubar posted. search transoceanic

I hope it gives you many hours of entertainment,
making it function again,
listening to enjoyable broadcast,
living in the doghouse cause she says ".....that's just about enough already......"

You can see by the damage that is on it why I needed to get it out of my shop before it was totally distroyed, thanks for accepting and caring for it. I hated to see it go to waste.
War Dept just added, "don't feel obligated...it may turn out to be great trading stock!!"

Scotty, this isnt goin anywhere if i can possibly help it. im already fighting the urge to disassemble and start working on it here at work hahaha. already started cleaning it, though! its really not too bad. hardest part will be locating a faceplate, but i have my connections :brows:

It did make it!!!

Glad to see that. Hope you can find some knobs and a new faceplate someday.

Maybe a global search on ForumsForums will turn up something?

Anybody seen parts or a wrecked Trans Oceanic?

Scotty ,

We all owe you big,,, it took a little radio from Alaska to bring quiet to this forum:yum:

:hammer::yum::yum::yum:

Scotty, the faceplate on this one, far as i can tell, is special to the military edition. i am on an antique radios forum and know a guy in my ares who is willing to help me with whatever. i know he can help me with the parts needed. first thing's first, though. gotta anchor that chassis down! a little trip to Ace Hardware will get that taken care of

thanks again, kind sir. so very much appreciated.
