Rough weekend

About a year ago I posted about a friend of mine's son who had a leukemia relapse and was going to have to start treatment again. Well he did pretty good up until last week, Friday he died. Good kid always had a smile on his face, a real joy to be around. Never complained, loved to hunt and fish, just turned 16. His dad worshiped him, they did everything together, he was like his dads shadow. He was small for his age due to the leukemia, I loaned him a chipkmunk 22 rifle that I had bought for my kids when they were little, you should have seen the look on his face, he carried that gun every where (he lived on a farm) you never saw him that gun wasn't close by. I used to give him ammo just so I could see that light in his eyes again. Now he's gone and I just found out that his dad is possibly going to be losing his job. Please do me a favor and say a prayer for him, he's going to need it. THANKS rugerman

Just when you think the world has you by the neck, you realize your little problem is nothing.........prayers for comfort and God's goodness to this family just sent.

Condolences to you and the family. Prayers on the way.

Losing a child is the toughest thing you can experience.I have lost two and it takes a long time to overcome. Prayers for God's guidance to the family. Time is the only thing that heals.

Thanks guys i really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I went to the funeral today, real sad but the family has lots of support. Yes muleman losing a child is really tough, I know how he feels, my youngest son died in Feburary, I still think about him every day. Its going to be a rough hunting season this year, he was my little hunting buddy from the time that he could walk, started him off hunting when he was 5, killed his first deer at 7. Lots of good memories. He was 25. Left a big hole in my heart, still have a hard time talking about it. Every time I go to the woods I really get choked up. Now he has a hunting buddy up there along with my dad who he never got to know. Thnks again. rugerman
