Rip Gord Downie (Tragically hip)

Not sure how popular they are in the states but they are one of the top Canadian bands. The singer Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer last year. So what did they do? Go on a final farewell tour across Canada before he was too far gone.

Never heard of them but ....that does not mean much I'm as far from 'tragically hip' as one can get.

I thought it was kewl that they did the tour. I did not notice the RIP in the title until after my post.
