I'd known Bob's Dad was ill for a while now.
Well, he passed away this morning from complications of congestive heart failure.
Retired USAF, Vietnam vet.. and one who enjoyed golf.
Rest in peace Mr. Pierce, SIR!
Your son has been a wonderful friend to me in a whole lot of ways.
Sleep easy now 'old man'.
 
I should have mentioned that Bob's Dad was a scratch player at golf- pretty damn good.
Must be where Bob gets his patience and concentration for the work HE does.

Looks like Dad is going to rest without any bells and whistles, but will be recognized for the service he did for his country in a very small way.

I'm sorry to here this news. My Condolences to you and your family Bobcat.
 
I’m sorry to hear about your father Bob. Mere words of condolence seem a small testament for a man who has been so much.
 
This is probably cheesy, and may seem out of place for this thread.
I asked BamsBBQ to find me Sheryl Crow's version of Wild Horses a year ago for me.
I wanted it for Bobcat then. I am posting it now for the same.
Bob, you have been a good friend to me since I have been on this forum (ups and downs and all).

Somehow, I know you are getting through losing your Dad as I understand the then and the now.
