Facebook Marketplace find for $180 + some missing parts that cost about $65 for a $245 total I got a new 13” planer. This is a $445 power tool so I consider this a win.

It was missing 2 different adjustment knobs and the vacuum hose adapter. All the parts are already on order.

This should help me reclaim some of the wood I’ve salvaged and give me a better finished product on some of the projects I want to do.

I need to make nearly two hundred feet of trim roughly 3/4” by 1.5” out of old lumber I already own. I can rip it down on the table saw but it’s impossible to make it really uniform with a planer. Now I have one.

Good find. I'd also recommend a metal detector wand to scan the lumber. Even one tiny staple will ruin your planer knives.
