Gone But Not Forgotten
Kind of a boring day around here, most football games mean nothing, starters are out.

But the highlight is while I sit here on Forumsforums my daughter home from college is playing the piano. She plays very well and I just love listening to her play. Just kind of makes all my troubles go away.

I started out to clean my barn this morning. I got about halfway down one side and found all sorts of cool things I forgot I had. I did get one table cleaned off and some tools put away though. :o

Anybody else ever do that? S'pose not.

I have been cleaning the garage for the past 3 or 4 days..... lost track because it seems that I am not making much progress. Finally got tired of walking around this useless anvil made out of a railroad track, so I put it in the dumpster yesterday. I think that is what I should do with everything that I have in there. Found a box of parts from my 1926 Buick Master that I sold in 1970. Wonder where that car is today and how many owners it has had since then. Beginning to wonder if I have enough energy left to finish the garage cleaning before I pass on..... Junk......

Sounds better than the cleaning I did today. We "deep cleaned" a couple of the horse stalls. With the weather being above freezing for several days now, we took the opportunity.

Those of you with horses will know exactly what a "deep clean" involves, everyone else won't need much imagination to come up with a good idea.

Sounds like a challenge. The true meaning of deep cleaning is an enema. :moon:

Get your butt back in that Dumpster and retrieve that useless anvil!! I'll not only pay the freight I'll make it worth your while!!
I too dumped one in AK just before I moved to OK, and can't begin to tell you how many times that I've kicked my ass for that mistake!!

Your neighbor will help you I'll bet with his L48!!

Dean and it is a very small world!!

Dean, I'll fight you for it, guns at dawn sound okay?

Junk, at the very least put it out side on the road bank with a 'take it away for free' sign on it, I bet it will go quickly

I spend a fair bit of time pulling things out of bins, wood, metal, tomorrows dinner......
Just the other day I got 12 8x4 sheets of 20mm plywood, nice stuff it is too, and it seems to repel water? Pretty pricey stuff new......

Junk,
Any sheet metal at 18 X 24" or plywood of the same dimensions, save it and I'll come get it. I am learning,, teaching myself air brush art and found sheet metal or 1/8" Luan plywood to work best,. Doing a picture right now for someone on plexi glass,,, Won't use this again,.. Can sand it till dooms day and still hard to make paint stick..
