Raspberries are coming in fast this week.

Gone But Not Forgotten
After 9 days of rain they are ripening so fast I need to pick every day. Going to be interesting to see what the other ones are. They are growing like mad and must be red ones. The black ones are happy along the fence and even the ones we transplanted along the other fence are forming some berries. The wild ones along the field are also starting to form berries.I have to beat the bear to those if I want any.

our wild blackberries are coming in much the same. If you can beat the deer to them you got a treat.

Nice Bill. I'm sure mine are ready but I'm hosting 100 people in my yard tomorrow and the rest of the family is out of town so I'm screwed and won't be picking for a couple days. By then, I probably lost to the birds.

the one negative about nome is the lack is straw berries and rasp berries but we have the market cornered on blue berries sit on the tundra in late august and you will stain your pants

From eating too many? Or when the bear comes through eating them?:yum:

Do your blueberries get very big or are they the kind that get a zillion little berries?

Mule I have many wild rasberries around my yard...

They are like weeds around this yard. Small berries, and this year on the small side of small... Youngest daughter and I pick several gallons and make syrup with it, straining the seeds out, and cooking it down. Easier said than done. Looks like we need to put on some bug dope, and get started.

Enjoy!

Regards, Kirk
