Rare Bombardiere Muskeg Model?

ON the Discovery Channel's program: INVENTION, with LUCKY SEVERSON Bombardier Documentary, generated around 1994, there is some footage of an elongated version of a J5, that I was told was a C6? Is anyone fimiliar with this machine? Got Pictures? History? It looks like it is the width of a J5, has a forward cab, and 4 or 5 tires on a side. It looks to be the single tire line, not the dual line like on the bigger muskeg.

Here are some pictures I took at Marcel Houle's in Quebec.
This machine sort of fits your description.

That Definately looks like the machine. The footage is B & W so it's hard to tell about the color. It's hauling a bunch of logs, FAST. Qwick response on the posting, Thanks!

Nice Pic Pixie !
I've never seen a machine like that, when I was at houle's it was quite a treasure trove to walk around through. Definitely different !
J5 Bombardier

Slightly off topic I know but is there a thread here anywhere just with photo's from that yard and other yards like it ? I love old wrecking yards ....

I don't think we have a topic on wrecker yards. You could start one. I've got some pics :whistling:

Here is another shot of the green thing that I found. It has skis on the front. Don't know if they are original.

Hello , I ,like some others, have been searching all over the net and keep ending up here so I joined up and have all ready got questions, any help would be much appreciated. I have found a snow cat I think might be a JW 68 but can't find a pic of one. It has a 251 Chrysler in it, it only has 1 door and a small winsheild it and looks older than the JW 70s I can find pics of. If any one can post a pic of a JW 68 that would be great!!! Thanks

I have been into his yard a few times having a look around, years ago when I was at the trucking racket. There is a Irving Bigstop truckstop there that I spent many a night sleeping. I particularly liked seeing what he had on display in the window in the building facing the highway. Every month or so he'd put an old car or truck or some sort of tracked machine for all to see.
That was on the south side of the highway. On the north side there was another smaller place with mostly tracked machines like the little Bombardiers with plows on them.
I joined this site a short while ago & find it very interesting, looking at & reading the stories about restoring these beautiful machines.
I'm not in love the Snow cat?? like B-Skurka has. I look at & read about the Thikiols 601's I think that's what there called. I find them "COOL".
But there's one machine that I don't see any talk or pics of & that my friends is the old bombardier "Woody" snowmobile.
Mister that is one of the most beautiful snowmachines that I have ever seen!!
