Puppy Mill Capital, USA?

The Menenite guy looked like he had a pretty good system and even admitted that he was at the level of most dogs him and his wife could handle. The Amish was another story.

You know, over the years I've visited amish country around here, Berne, Grabill and Shipshewana, Indiana.
There have been signs along the road at lots of the farms with "puppies for sale."

The Amish fascinate me, but for them it's obviously all about money when it comes to something like this.

Bet they don't give a damn about the treatment of most animals, except their horses of course!

I always feel bad for the horse when I see them locally. especially Summer time when the sweat buckets. The Amish cut them no slack!

I know Doggie, I've seen that too really.
My Mom, sis and myself have gone to Amish country around here a lot.
When they park the cart and tie the horse(s), they walk away like they've just parked a freaking car... doesn't matter what the weather conditions are.

Still I think they may pay a bit more attention to their horses, as those beautiful animals help them with transportation and farming.

However, I see this in the future.. and why not?:yum:
They pretend they have no electric, but have hidden generators on their properties.

PG, I don't believe they treat their horses that good. I am surrounded by Amish and can tell you I treat my tractors better than they treat most animals. It is a crime how they will leave a horse tied up all day while they run their sawmill and then jump on and ride the snot out of it to get home. Same thing when they go to the lake for fishing. Tied up all day in the hot sun while they fish. Every animal is a tool and will be sold for a price. While they may not have electric they do have cell phones and more Honda motors than you would ever believe!
