Punching holes in track belting

I have a 48" X 41 ' piece of rubber belting that I'm planning on using for track belting. My questions are,

Is there any easy way to cut into 4 6" x 22' strips. What tools can I use ?

Anybody make a homemade jig for punching or drilling 150 holes in each piece of belt ??

I've seen it cut, using a blade to cut the belting and a forklift to pull it through the knife. But that was a custom made affair to cut belting. Alternatively, take an old wooden flatbed wagon. Sharpen one side of an old file and point one end. Drive the file through the belting, with sharp edge facing the cut direction. Drive the file into the wood, so it stands upright. Attach the belt to a chain (perhaps wood bolted together to pinch it?) and drag the belt past the knife blade.

Yes, I made a jig out of plywood and lumber. One piece of ply with two strips to hold the belting. Then another piece of ply with two more strips to fit over the first ply. The belt is then held straight and secure. Lay out your holes carefully, then drill till you puke. When you have to move the belt, use an old bolt in a previously drilled hole to orient the belting to the jig.

I made a jig for the tucker belting took a piece of 3/8 steel with the two holes punched spaced it the width of the belt and off table for belt to slip through with correct spacing from side to side. Welded to table then the correct spacing 6" away had another jig with studs to clip the next holes in for spacing. Clip, drill, slide clip, drill, slide 800 times really wasn't bad. Had 1belt done in 10minutes but I was doing a track a weekend. A little hard to explain. Way cheaper though
