There is a thread on the Related Topics forum of a major tractor site about political discussions. At least two of the posts contained links to this site. Those posts were deleted for some reason. Now, when I try to reply to any post in that thread, instead of being directed to the reply page, I find myself at "My Home." Is this some kind of software fluke, or is it a subtle message that not only are political discussions disallowed, but even discussing such discussions is verboten also? I prefer to not ask this question there for fear of endangering my status there. I notice many of the same names here that appear there and figure someone here might have an answer.

BTW--I just signed up. It looks like a great site. Looks like I'll be spending more of my internet time here. Maybe that is why links to this site are deleted over there--they fear losing their membership.

The discussion that you are referring to on the other forum based upon the title was sure to be doomed.

However Nixon after having his post deleted once posted again a reference to this site, along with soundguys remarks was a sure sign of having the post closed to further discussion.

Besides, this site has such a huge variety of smilies.:festive:

RD, I just wanted the courtesy of a PM to explain the reason for deleting my post(s). I just don't get the hatred of FF by some over at TBN .

No to both questions . If they don't want me to post a site's address for folks looking for a bit more than tractor oriented stuff ,I won't .
That is,provided they enforce it equally ,or give me a specific reason why I should not post any links to this site .
 
rumor has it that TBN has soo many members now that they are going to disconnect from the Internet all together. That way they don't have to deal with members looking at other web sites..and letting their brain get corrupted with unpure thoughts.

besides it is well known that people only use the InterNET so they can use the tractorby network. So why not cut the middle man out of the picture all together? Which was the plan all a long as you could tell from the name of their site. It is simply a misunderstanding of the naming of the site. It aint TractorByNet, its Tractorby Network.

They are working on their own closed networking protocol as we speak to replace TCP/IP. It is called TCP/CP for Total Control Protocol/Censorship Protocol. The first application to use the TCP/CP protocol will of course be the Ramadan Browser. To get around the site and assist in linking other page references, instead of using URL addresses it will use UR_HERE addresses. URLs will not be supported.. if you don't like it, dont complain or you will be banned and can never get in contact with your friends ever again*.. Basically what it means is you can not post in that particular thread or the thread is closed. I think the thread is closed from what I heard. And no they won't ever send you a decent explaination other that some cut and paste reply that they use for everyone. By the way what nick/id did you use over there on TBN??

I'm known as reb over there. I started that thread merely to find a forum where political discussions were ok and not dominated by wackos on either side of the political spectrum. So far this looks like a good choice. I think I have detected a wacko or two :)(I won't name names), but both sides of questions are presented. Maybe I am too naive or haven't read enough threads, but I haven't read any posts here where the participants sounded like they would like to commit mayhem on each other. I don't understand the TBN ban.

That is obvious. Membership in these forums should come with a certificate for 1 hour of free psychoanalysis with every 50 posts. You will learn quickly how has the hair trigger across their a$$.

You are now among a growing group of people that have no idea as to what they did or didn't do to be banned at TBN. There is no rhyme or reason to any of the actions of the TBN administration. You might say that they march to a different drummer, and that drummer doesn't rely on any rational thought. That is my opinion about the way that they administer banishments..
