Prayers for Andrew, Logan, TJ and others

This morning I woke to several texts left on my phone from some former co-workers.
Many of the kids who worked at the facility I used to work for in Delphos (nursing assistants) and now some nursing students were on their way to a field trip in New York.
The bus driver fell asleep.

Many of them are going back home at the parents request and not going through with the trip.
This could have been much worse.
There are a lot of frantic parents and family members out there this morning.
I got to know many of them as my friends and would mother and guide them with advice on their careers in nursing.

Just say a little prayer this morning for all involved.

The bus went airborne, off the road and down into a ravine.

One woman has some pretty bad injuries.
The kids parents are going to get them.
Drew is fine, they all are.
Shaken and battered, but strong kids.

Yup.
They offered to send a van and trailer instead.

Family members went to either get, or be with the kids at hospital until released.

I belong to a group on FB that went on and on about this until the wee hours of the morning.
Today they're fairly quiet.
That said, some people can say the stupidest shit on social media at times like this.
