Well we have been doing some design work, not liking the wheel/tire set up on the ST4 we are having a polyurethane cast over a aluminum core to take the place of the standard wheel should have it by next week. The trick to it is the polyurethane is red.... I will post pictures when we get it. then we will test it before we would offer it to anybody else.

We are also talking about casting rear wheels as well...... :4_11_9:

Thats great Brad . Now how bout designing some of those speed spocketts like Arlow has ???? :thumb:

Who's Arlow ? are you talking about private parts again? you are getting older I suppose yours AR-LOW !!!!!!! :pirate: :yum: :yum:

Well , I thought that was the name of the fella up in BC that did that beautiful restore on his Snow Trac :snow2_smi: . ......?????

He had custom sprockets built to increase his top end speed . Its the best damn restoration/upgrade I have ever seen .

Makes my KT7 look like "chicken feed"

This sounds like the most worthy Snow Trac upgrade that I've heard of in a long time. :tiphat: I'd be interested in both boggie and big wheels.

Also, don't neglect to look at desigining ployurethane covered aluminum drive sprockets. You might be the first one to get us away from those all-too-rare bronze drive sprockets.

Keep up the good work and keep us informed. If you send me a set I'll give them a good Alaskan testing... :pirate:

Hey Big AL, ol buddie ol pal do ya have some pics of this non chicken feed machine?:poke: :coolshade

Any Pics yet Boggie?

Here are a couple of pictures of the Wheels The red one is cast polyurethane
in a hard durometer to take the place of the Bronze wheel as you can see it does not yet have the sealed bearings and metal insert in the center yet.
these wheels are good to -60F and up to 250F they are load rated at 3500 pounds per wheel. 12" by 3.250 they will have 1/2" sealed bearings.

These will be more we still are machining the centers.

The rubber wheel/combo is only 4 ply 12" O.D. by 3.5" and we are going to poly fill them they have 1/2" sealed bearings and are rated at 600 pounds per wheel they will fill the void and the price on these will less than half even with the fill than the Polyurethane about 60.00

they will replace the wheel and the tires on the ST4 so if someone does not have the wheel it allows them to keep the machine operational or as a spare. :thumb:
