Planting corn today

Finished yesterday with 70 acers on the monitor, in my first to be planted field. I will finish the rest of the 120 today. Might make the move to the next field, and will check the weather. Supposed to rain tonight. I like to finish a field, not have a delay for rain in the middle. Looks better that way, not sure if it effects yeilds all that much.

Time to go play in the dirt...:biggrin:

I see planters out where guys are going over them for planting but have not seen any planting yet. Lots of fields are worked and ready but the cold has come back and now we are to get rain for the next 3-4 days. Getting close to time for planting up here. My rye sure needed this rain and some warm temps will bring on the peas.:clap:
