Pirate Attacks of Somalia

Harr Harr me maties, shiver me timbers, yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum and all that other crap...
Apparently it's increasingly normal to encounter modern day pirates off the coast of Somalia. The pirates have RPG's, automatic weapons, etc. They attack from speed boats and do so about 100 miles off the coast. Cruise ships are the big prey.

I have a few thoughts on this.
The pirates intent may be only to loot, pilage and plunder. It may also include rape and murder too. Nice guys pirates are not.
A terrorist might take a cruise ship hostage, plant a dirty bomb, sail into a crowded harbor and bang, thar she blows. The least damage would be if some navy was to sink the ship before it reached port. Few survivors.

I see a new industry being born.
Lots of readers here are hunters, completely at ease with weapons. Why not go trophy hunting off the coast of Somalia. The ship would be used as bait. I don't mean to kill anyone. Just bullet riddle the attacking speed boat enough to sink it and then sit around filming, drinking and admiring the sharks at work. We could call it Sea Safari.
To be fair we would allow any pirate that could climb aboard the ship to be considered safe, safe also would be any pirate who could swim to shore, fair is fair after all.
Who amongst us doesn't remember the US soldiers being dragged around Mogadishu?
Do you feel this would have an effect on pirates?
Is this a bad idea?
Should we suspend the commandments for say, two weeks a year?
The sad part here is if everything was an eye for an eye, the whole world eventually would be blind. See, I'm not totally amoral.

Slightly modify your idea. First, let the terrorist on the cruise ship with the dirty bomb. Second, fill the cruise ship with the worst of the worst prisoners we have locked up. Third, set the ship on autopilot and aim it towards Somalia with the bomb on timer. Let the pirates board. Boom. Several problems solved.

Make it a french ship with a french crew and I'm on board (pun intended) with the whole plan! One step better, can we get the entire U.N. leadership on that ship too?
