Peanuts

We have a couple parrots. We like to get them unsalted roasted peanuts in the shell.
Walmart.
Go to Walmart to pick some up. Go to where the planters peanuts are. No peanuts in the shell. Go by the snacks. No peanuts in the shell. Ask one of the extremely educated and knowledgeable Walmart he's where the in the shell peanuts are. Walmartette says by all the rest of the peanuts. Go back to the peanuts just to make sure we are not the idiots.
So here we go, aisle by aisle because I know they have them.
Where do we find them?
BY THE GODDDAMN BAKED GOODS / DONUTS! WTF!

Do you have to shell them or do the parrots do it themselves? Not being a smart ass (for a change) I just do not know.

I too have that boomer complete lack of patience.

They break them open.
They peel blueberries for the inside.
Give them a portion of an ear if corn, they remove a kernel, then eat the inside.
Etc

They eat everything. So table foods. Steak. Chicken. Fried chicken. BBQ ribs. Mashed potatoes. French fries. Everything we give them.
Have had Frodo, a Catalina Macaw for almost 40 years. Got him a baby.
Have Poncho, a yellow nape Amazon. Got him from a neighbor who had him since it was a baby. Guessing he's 45 years old.
