I'm building a passenger cab for my 1342 tucker cat I haven't cut the windows yet . any ideas on how I should fit windows in ? Should i just get a automotive window gasket and cut them out of plexiglass? or maybe some camper style windows with a plastic frame ?

please help anyone that has been there and done it

Aaron,
Google RV windows, pickup topper windows, trailer windows, etc. They are available in operable and non and different mounting styles. Sort of depends on what you want.

You could go a couple of ways. Like Undy said an RV dealer can order/manufacture a framed window to your specs that is the riveted to the cab.
The other option is to cut the opening in your cab and get a piece of safety glass ( I prefer) or plexiglass cut to the correct shape and use the appropriate seal that holds the glass in the skin of the cab. No frame required. It is necessary to use the correct radius on the corners as both the glass and the seal have their limitations on how sharp that radius can be. Consult a glass shop for those dimensions. The seal dimensions also determine the gap between the cut out in the cab and the size of the window. Too small of a gap and it is difficult to install and easily breaks the glass and too big a gap and the window can have leaks or even pop out easily.
The windows on the side of this cab are framed and I riveted them on. You can't see it in this picture but both the front windshield on the cat cab and passenger cab were custom sized and used the rubber seal and safety glass cut by a glass company.

Contact Jeff at Motion Windows/Peninsula Glass in Vancouver, Wa. His number is 360-944-4446. They have a form on line and they will make anything. Not cheap, but looks correct.

You might check Five Star R V recreational vehicle salvage in Denver. When they were Cherokee R V they had rooms full of used windows. I see you choose not to show your location but I think I remember you're on the front range.
