PIZZA RANT: my gripe what I sent to Totinos via their website
http://totinos.com/home.aspx?nicam1=Paid_Search&nichn1=GOOGLE&nipkw1=totino&niseg1=PBUS_Totin&nicreatID1=Pizza

I recently bought 3 Totinos "party pizzas" with the intention of taking them home and cooking them in the Microwave. It was only when I carefully examined the back of the box for the microwave instructions. Looking to find the instructions I was very surprised to see that this producted is only supposed to be prepared in a conventional oven. In my experience most small pizzas such as this are designed to be microwaved.
This is the 21 st. Century many (if not most) people prefer to use the microwave for convience sake. I would suggest that if you cannot/willnot make this product for the microwave oven that you at least have NON MICROWAVABLE printed in large lettering on the outside of the box. So now I sit here hungry and several dollars short since I am unwilling to to mess up my oven by baking a rather nasty looking and no doubt tasting pizza in this. There are many other pizzas on the market that can be cooked in the microwave oven and I will choose those over your product.

I nuke leftovers but never made one in the microwave. Do you have a stone platter to put it on? That is what I use to bake them.

It says to bake them on the rack ( the nasty cheese can run down and mess up the oven.) Far be it for me to disregard their instructions.

They all say that. I use a pampered chef round stone and spray a light coat of cooking spray on it. Makes a nice crust and keeps things from sticking, like cheese.

My wife got some pizzas like that, not sure of the brand, but she experimented microwaving them anyways. They taste about like the other microwaveable pizzas. I can't remember her exact formula but I think for a 1,000 watt microwave she went 4:30 on half power. Go ahead and give it a try you got nothing to lose

I used to use a cookie sheet before I bought my pizza stone. The reason they say to put it on the rack is so that you have a crispy crust.

I don't want to put them in my oven at all I am a bachelor I do NOT use an oven

Anyway they e-mailed me that since I was disgruntled that they are going to send me freebie coupons for their microwavable pizza rolls!

Hey, you made out like a bandit.:clap:

Hey, I can empathize with that bachelor thing too and I've been married for 33 years. When I get left on my own, it's the microwave or nothing. Greatest machine ever invented. I'd starve to death without it if my wife didn't do all the cooking.
